Ok you need to stop fear mongering. Let the powers that be do that just dont buy into it. Your right this is happening and the frequency is growing but putting a fear spin is completly missing the point of what is going down. we are being given an oportunity to go from a terrestrial species to a galactic species, if we can handle it. Also the thing with art bell was a hoax google it if you dont believe me.
From the webmaster:
In response to the reader who suggested a taint of “fear spin” was added by me, in regards to certain UFO posts made here… no, I am NOT suggesting we all cower in fear at an impending “alien invasion” etc., I am simply pointing out the rising frequency of sightings worldwide leading to a possible landing/contact event.
You (reader) however are very correct in pointing out that we need to be prepared to become “galactic citizens” if need be!
So yes, I apologize for ANY misconceptions and DO advocate a willingness to accept a place amongst the stars, so to speak, with other sentient races out there.
It’s hard to imagine the industrial town of Bonnybridge near Falkirk as a portal to another dimension but the everyday hustle and bustle of the area hides a more mysterious and sinister background.
Nicknamed the ‘UFO capital of Scotland’, Bonnybridge is a hotspot for extra-terrestrial activity and people from around the world have come to the town to gaze at the skies above. Some reports state there are over 300 UFO sightings a year in the town alone.
UFO expert and author of Beyond the Falkirk Triangle Ronald Halliday believes that Scotland’s twilight zone isn’t just restricted to the Falkirk area and there are strange lights to be seen all over the country. Is there something strange going on in Scotland’s skies?
Speaking to The Hour Ronald said: “People do have close up encounters and people do claim to have seen things that are very hard to explain right away.
“There have been thousands of reported sightings in Scotland and in fact the country has been labelled the UFO capital of the world. There has even been some suggestion that Scotland acts as a window into another dimension.
“Again, there have been thousands of reported sightings of UFOs in Bonnybridge over the years and all sort of strange things have been happening. People from all over the world have gone there to see if they can spot something. If you want to see a UFO come to Scotland.”
The release of previously confidential MOD files by the National Archive in 2008 unravelled further suspicions of potential unidentified objects in Scotland’s skies. From 1940 onwards various eyewitness accounts have included everything from mysterious beams of light in Lennoxtown to an alleged abduction in Livingston.
Despite its reputation as a hotspot for alien activity, Ronald insists that it has never been more important to validate potential sightings and check for signs of false or natural explanations.
“I think we have got to be critical about the whole thing. You can’t accept every claim that someone has seen something strange unless there is real evidence; you have to evaluate it and take a look to see if we can explain it through science or natural phenomenon.
“People think they have seen something strange but when you take a look and investigate it you find out that really there is nothing behind it.”
However one would be advised to keep your eyes on the Scottish skies for now. As the use of camera-phones and handheld recording equipment grows, so too does the chance of spotting a UFO – just make sure to wear a warm jacket.
“I’d advise [UFO hunters] to take a very warm coat and be prepared to spend some time in an isolated spot. You don’t want to be near a city.”
It’s become an almost silly question to ask…are we alone? If we are, then there’s a lot of wasted space out there! Seriously, it’s almost absurd to even think we are the only species in such a vast expanse of space. An interesting video non-the less! Enjoy this video.
About the video: An interesting BBC movie about a question that man kind has always arises: “Are we alone in the universe?”
A mysterious shiny object floating high over Manhattan‘s West Side set off a flurry of reports and wild speculation Wednesday that a UFO was flying over the city.
Police and the FAA said they began getting flooded with calls starting at 1:30 p.m. from people reporting a silvery object hovering high over Chelsea.
Law enforcement sources said they believed the object was likely some sort of balloon, but as of late Wednesday they had not confirmed exactly what it is.
A Daily News reporter could see a tiny, silver dot floating approximately 5,000 feet above 23th St. and Eighth Ave., where dozens of people gathered late in the afternoon to catch a glimpse.
“It’s been hovering there for a while. I’m just kind of baffled,” said Joseph Torres, 49, of Dyker Heights, Brooklyn, who spotted the object after leaving a movie. “How can it be ordinary? There is something going on.”
Despite clear skies, it was not easy to make out the tiny object shimmering overhead.
“You really have to look up to see it,” said one witness, who gave only his first name, Rico. “It’s a little crazy. I guess that’s why they call it an unidentified flying object because they don’t know what it is.”
Not long after the first sightings, messages began appearing on Twitter linking to a month-old press release announcing the publication of a book by a retired NORAD officer predicting that UFOs would buzz the earth’s major cities on Oct. 13.
The Federal Aviation Administration said it received several calls to its operations center but after reviewing radar data, the agency could not find anything out of the ordinary.
“We re-ran radar to see if there was anything there that we can’t account for but there is nothing in the area,” said spokesman Jim Peters. “There was some helicopter traffic over the river at that time and we checked with LaGuardia Tower. And they said they had nothing going low at that time.”
“Nothing that we can account for would prompt this kind of response,” he said.
Peters said if it was a weather balloon or any kind of organized balloon release, authorities should have been notified in advance. Police officials said they had received no notification.
A few days out of date for sure, but very interesting though. The “explosion” of UFO sightings in the U.K. are nothing new. But perhaps you missed this short write up of something refreshingly different…flying cubes!
The original write up of this story can be found at the telegraph.co.uk website. We have had saucers, triangles, orb style and now cubes. I wonder what will be next?
More on these glowing, flying cubes:
In the UK, glowing “cubes” have been seen hovering over a highway. One of the witnesses is an aircraft engineer in the British military. In the July 2nd edition of the Telegraph, Lucy Cockcroft quotes Michael Madden as saying that the mysterious object floating above his head “zoomed off at incredible speed…I work with aircraft and grew up next to Manchester Airport so I know exactly what a plane looks and sounds like. This was definitely not a plane. It was a circular disc which was glowing bright, hovering hundreds of meters up. Other people must have spotted it. It was unlike anything I’ve ever seen in my life. It really did look like the alien aircraft in films. It had an antenna fixed to the back.”
While Madden saw a conventional disc-shaped UFO, Cockcroft reports that on June 7, three OTHER military men saw UFOs which looked like “rotating cubes,” while they were on foot patrol at night near a military barracks.
