Vesuvian Curse, Asteroid Life, Killer Beetle and More Mysterious News Briefly — October 12, 2020
Ancient pots found in Iraq appear to be batteries predating their 1800s invention by centuries and their origin is still a persistent historical mystery.
A person I met today, a very intelligent, aware and enlightened women had brought up a very good point as well as the subject for today (And if you’re reading this post….thank you for a very good conversation and the chance to exchange ideas and get to know an “old soul”!) A little brief history of today…the subject of the paranormal had been brought up, she expressed her intensities about it as did I. The subject of alien civilizations and humans was introduced. Food for thought…could our human existence have been a “seeding” project for a much more advanced, truly alien faction or civilization and we are now, as in a few hundred to a thousand people per decade, year, month etc., becoming aware of this thought and the questions and are now starting come to terms that there may very well be our creators, and not what traditional religion(s) teach us?

Advanced Extraterrestrials as an Approximation to God
Our first encounter with E.T. technology could be as baffling to us as a smartphone would have been to a Neandertal
Despite the impression one gets from textbooks, our current knowledge of the universe represents a small island in a vast ocean of ignorance. The scientific enterprise is all about expanding the landmass of this island. And it is fun to engage in the activity of gaining knowledge; knowing everything in advance would have been much more boring. Still, it would be shocking to learn all at once of the discoveries of an alien civilization that been doing scientific and technological exploration for billions of years, in contrast to our mere few centuries. The eminent science fiction writer Arthur C. Clarke codified this idea in the third of his three laws : “Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic.” Put another way, members of such a civilization would appear to us as a pretty good approximation to God.
Meeting a piece of advanced technological equipment developed by an extraterrestrial intelligence might resemble an imaginary encounter of ancient cave people with a modern cell phone. At first, they would interpret it as a shiny rock, not recognizing it as a communication device. The same thing might have happened in reaction to the first detection of an interstellar visitor to the solar system, ‘Oumuamua, which showed six peculiar properties but was nevertheless interpreted as a rock by mainstream astronomers.
Because it would likely be relatively small, most advanced equipment could only be recognized in the darkness of space when it comes close enough to our nearest lamppost, the sun. We can search for technological “keys” under this lamppost, but most of them will stay unnoticed if they pass far away. More fundamentally, one may wonder whether we are able to recognize technologies that were not already developed by us. After all, these technologies might feature subtle purposes—like the cell phone communication signals that a cave person would miss.
Is there something we might be missing already here and now? When looking around us, the most mysterious phenomenon we encounter routinely is the sophistication of complex life. Some scientists wondered whether life itself was seeded on Earth by an alien civilization in a process called “directed panspermia.” One can imagine a probe that brought the seeds of life in the form of microbes or instead a 3-D printer that produced these seeds out of the raw materials on Earth based on a prescribed blueprint. The universal left-handedness (chirality) of all life-forms on Earth without exception can be interpreted as stemming from a single panspermia event, be it natural (through a rock arriving from space) or artificial in origin . Even in this context, our imagination of what aliens might do will improve once we are able to produce synthetic life in the laboratory.
The number of targeted probes that are needed to seed life artificially in the habitable zone of a planetary systems is far smaller than the number of natural rocks that serve the same purpose on random trajectories. The advantage of 3-D printing of life from raw materials on a target planet is that natural DNA samples live a finite lifetime and may eventually disintegrate in a few million years, whereas artificial machinery can be constructed to last much longer…
Our world is filled with questions. We sometimes do find the answers. We seek life answers, then are presented with more questions than answers to those life questions we ask.
Is our journey through this life a “training” exercise? Revelations (if we allow it to happen) that we have to accept that death is merely the next step into a much bigger, grander process of our being as individuals that during and even after, impart so very much on small and even larger levels that we sometimes fail to see our every interaction, literally, DOES have impacting effects on those around us!
Simple scenario: your kindness to a stranger to help them out in public say with helping them with a supporting word or even a simple “hello, how are you today”, sensing that that person is undergoing something stressing or traumatic (although you truly don’t know this individual)…all because your genuine nature came into play without the thought of “what can I get in return”. And of course, there are millions of other examples, this one being a simple way to illustrate a point.
What are your thoughts on this theory, idea or revelation of an age old need to know the answer to this type of question?
In 2004, scientists were stunned by the discovery of skeletons of what are thought to be an ancient race of people that stood about 3½ feet tall – about the height of a modern three-year-old. Found on the remote island of Indonesia, these pygmies were named Homo floresiensis and nicknamed “hobbits” because of their small size (their heads were no bigger than a grapefruit). The scientists believe this diminutive race died out about 13,000 years ago, although modern natives reported knowledge of a tiny race of people currently or recently living in isolated areas of the jungle.
These are not the first or only strange skeletons unearthed around the world – including the U.S. Whether you believe humans are the descendents of Adam and Eve, the result of millions of years of evolution or the genetic creations of the Annunaki, there are many puzzling specimens of skeletons, skulls and other human (or human-like) remains that can truly make one wonder about mankind’s past.
Here’s a bare-bones look at some of the more intriguing cases:
Within an ancient burial mound near the town of Sayre in Bradford County, Pennsylvania, skeletons measuring approximately 7 feet in length were discovered in the 1800s. But the most remarkable feature of these tall skeletons was not their height, but the strange horn-like protrusions above the brow region on their skulls. It was estimated that they were buried around 1200 AD. According to some sources, the skeletons were sent to the American Investigating Museum in Philadelphia, and vanished.
All the Better to Eat You With, My Dear
In 1888, seven skeletons, which had been placed in a sitting position, were uncovered from a burial mound near Clearwater, Minnesota. The highly unusual skulls of these beings had double rows of teeth in both the upper and lower jaws. It was also noted that the foreheads were low and sloping, compared to “normal” human skulls, and had distinctly prominent brows.
The December 17, 1891 issue of the respected journal Nature reported the discovery of a giant man buried 14 feet within the center of one of Ohio’s mysterious burial mounds. The enormous man’s arms, jaw, arms, chest and stomach were all clad in copper. Wooden antlers, also covered with copper, rested on either side of his head. His mouth was filled with large pearls, and a pearl-studded necklace of bear teeth hung around his neck. Who this man was, or to which race of people he belonged, is unknown.
The Mica Giant
In 1879, a burial mound in Brewersville, Indiana yielded another giant skeleton, according to the November, 1975 edition of The Indianapolis News. This one reached 9 feet 8 inches tall! It wore a necklace of mica stone, and a crude human effigy of clay was found standing at his feet. The giant skeleton was examined by scientists from Indiana and New York, and it remained in the possession of Mr. Robinson, who owned the land on which the mound stood. Unfortunately, the curious bones were washed away in a flood in 1937.
Researcher Robert Connolly photographed this strange elongated skull in 1995. It was found in South America and is estimated to be tens of thousands of years old. Apart from its obvious abnormalities, it also exhibits characteristics of both Neanderthal and human skulls – impossible in itself, according to anthropology texts, since Neanderthals did not exist in South America. Some believe that the unusual shape of the skulls might be the result of a primitive practice known as “skull binding” in which a person’s head is tightly bound with cloth or leather straps throughout his lifetime, causing the skull to grow in this dramatic way. The skull-binding theory is contested, however, for this and other cone-shaped skulls, and you can read about them in more detail at Anomalous Skulls.
Near Coshocton, Ohio in 1837, several fully developed adult skeletons were found buried in tiny wooden coffins. Why tiny coffins? Because these adult skeletons were only 3 to 4½ feet tall. No artifacts were found with the remains that might give clues as to who these small people were, but there were so many of them that researchers believed they could have been the residents of a small city.
Pedro Mountain Mummy
“Pedro,” as he has been nicknamed, is one of the most famous enigmatic human remains ever found. He was discovered by gold prospectors in 1932 when they were dynamiting through the canyons of the Pedro Mountains, which rise about 60 miles southwest of Casper, Wyoming. There he was, sitting cross-legged on a ledge with his hands resting serenely in his lap. (See photo.) He was completely mummified. What’s astonishing, however, is that this middle-aged-looking man appeared to be only 14 inches tall! But it might not have been an adult at all. Although the mummy has been lost, X-rays survive and one modern analysis concluded that Pedro was actually an infant, or even a fetus, that might have been afflicted with the disease anencephaly.
In 1911, miners were digging out layers of guano from a cave located about 22 miles southwest of Lovelock, Nevada when they happened upon the mummified remains of an individual who must have stood 6½ feet tall when alive. A tall Native American, perhaps? Probably not, since the mummy was still crowned with “distinctly red” hair. Amazingly, the ancient legends of the local Paiute Indians described a race of red-haired giants – called Si-te-cahs – who were the enemies of many Indian tribes of the region.
The Starchild Skull
Lloyd Pye, author of Everything You Know Is Wrong, has taken it upon himself to discover the identity of an unusual skull he has dubbed “The Starchild Skull.” The skull, which was found in a mine shaft near Chihuahua, Mexico around 1930, is unusually wide at the back and exhibits larger than normal eye sockets. Although he says the origin of the skull is uncertain, Pye speculates on whether or not it could be of alien origin – or at least belonging to a human-alien hybrid. While some contend that the skull was merely that of a deformed human child, Pye wanted definitive proof and so, in late 1999, subjected the skull to DNA testing. The results of the test indicated that the skull was from a human being, but Pye points out that the lab could not extract sufficient strands of DNA to make a definitive conclusion, and therefore the question still remains open.
Robert Connolly has photographed a similar, more complete skulls. (See photos.) In most respects it appears to be that of a human, except that it has an extraordinarily large cranium and eye sockets. The eye sockets are about 15 percent larger than a modern human’s. The age and date of the skull are unknown. Similar skulls appear in photos by Karen Scheidt of remains found in a Mexican cave. Could they all be genetic mutations, some unknown species of creature or something not of this world?
The Native peoples of North America told legends of a race of “little people” who lived in the woods near sandy hills and sometimes near rocks located along large bodies of water, such as the Great Lakes. Often described as “hairy-faced dwarfs” in stories, petroglyphs illustrations show them with horns on their head and traveling in a group of 5 to 7 per canoe.
How Morning Star Lost her Fish – from Stories the Iroquois Tell Their Children by Mabel Powers 1917
Native legends often talk of the little people playing pranks on people such as singing and then hiding when an inquisitive person searches for the music. It is often said that the little people love children and would take them away from bad or abusive parents or if the child was without parents and left in the woods to fend for themselves.
Other legends say the little people if seen by an adult human would beg them not to say anything of their existence and would reward those who kept their word by helping them and their family out in times of need. From tribe to tribe there are variations of what the little people’s mannerisms were like, and whether they were good or evil may be different. Many of the elders still have a belief in these beings, but younger generations tend not to believe in these stories.
One of the common beliefs is that the little people create distractions to cause mischief. They were believed to be gods by some. One North American Native tribe believed that they lived in nearby caves. The caves were never entered for fear of disturbing the little people.
The physical remains of tiny people have been reported found in various locations in the western United States, particularly Montana and Wyoming. Typically these are described as being found in caves with various details such as descriptions that they were “perfectly formed”, dwarf-size, etc. Archeologist Lawrence L. Loendorf notes that “The burials, of course, are always sent to a local university or to the Smithsonian for analysis, only to have both the specimens and research results disappear.” Loendorf also suggests that the discovery of two mummies of anencephalic infants in the first half of the twentieth century with deformities that caused some people to believe they were adults has “contributed to public belief in the existence of a group of tiny prehistoric people.
A graveyard unearthed in the 1830s in Coshocton County, Ohio was believed to contain skeletons belonging to a pygmy race. In fact that the graves, only about three feet long, were “bone burials” containing disarticulated or bent bones packed together.

The Native American little people were said to reside in the Pryor Mountains of Montana and Wyoming. The Pryors are famous for their “fairy rings” and strange happenings. Some members of the Crow tribe consider the little people to be sacred ancestors and require leaving an offering for them upon entry to the area.
AS SOPHISTICATED TECHNOLOGICALLY as we have become on this planet, we are still pretty much in the dark when it comes to matters of our own existence. Where do we come from? What is our purpose here? What happens after we die?
These are the age-old questions. Science attempts to answer the first question only and doesn’t yet know how to deal with the other two. Religion, in its many forms, provides as many “certain” answers to all three questions, but with little or no evidence. A multitude of other philosophies have their own ideas.
With all our investigation, pondering, faith and meditation, however, we are no closer to knowing. The more we dig for answers to these questions, it seems, the more questions are raised.
Many fascinating questions are raised with regard to “where do we come from?” in Brad Steiger’s book,Worlds Before Our Own. First published in 1978 and out of print for several years, the book has recently been reprinted by Anomalist Books (along with several other of Brad’s titles, including Strange Guests and Shadow World, all of which I can heartily recommend).
Obviously, I have always been fascinated by discoveries and human experiences that don’t fit into the standard templates of what conventional science and even religion would have us accept. Thus, my preoccupation with ghost phenomena, psychic experiences and sightings of Bigfoot, to specify a few. This fascination also includes archaeological discoveries that do not fit neatly into the timelines currently laid out in scientific texts. (See “The 10 Most Puzzling Ancient Artifacts”.) Yet these discoveries exist, annoying as they may be to the commonly accepted theories.
Brad shares my excitement and wonder about these anomalies, which is why I gleefully relish books like Worlds Before Our Own. These anomalous findings – and there are thousands of them – stand out as real evidence that there very well may have been civilizations (possibly advanced) that pre-date any we are aware of. They may stretch back hundreds of thousands or even millions of years further than conventional histories.
IMPOSSIBLY OLD HUMAN REMAINS AND TRACKS
- In the 1880s, anthropologists found the remains of a modern-looking man, woman and two children in glacial strata that were dated at 10 million years old – far older than the currently accepted model, which says modern man (homo sapiens) has only been around for about 200,000 years.
- In 1971, while exploring a mine, an amateur geologist and archaeologist found a human tooth embedded in strata that was dated as 100 million years old.
- In 1932, an experienced trapper found human footprints imprinted in the gypsum rock at White Sands, New Mexico. More astonishing, the prints measured 22 inches long!
- Two brothers digging into ancient Indian mounds in Minnesota unearthed the skeletons of men that would have stood over eight feet tall.
- In 1930, the New York Times reported the discovery by a mining operation in Mexico of human remains “averaging eight feet in height.”
PREHISTORIC SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY
- In 1968, a Russian archaeologist found a large-scale metallurgical factory dating back to some unknown civilization 4,500 years ago, where they made vases, knives, bracelets and more of copper, gold, iron and bronze.
- In Haifa, Israel in 1966, researchers found in a cave a piece of manufactured glass measuring 11 feet long, 7 feet wide and 1½ feet thick and aged at 1,400 years old. Such a feat of glass making was not matched until the creation of the mirrors for the Mount Palomar telescopes in the 20th century.
- The ancient Peruvians may have invented ballooning. In 1690, a Portuguese Jesuit priest recorded that he had actually seen the Peruvians flying about in hot-air balloons.
Again, this is just a small sampling of the wealth of intriguing anomalies Brad Steiger has assembled in Worlds Before Our Own.
Of course, we call them “anomalies” only in relation to current scientific belief. More correctly, they should be regarded as concrete evidence that we know very little about the true history of humankind on Earth – a history that is almost certainly far richer and older than we have imagined. Who knows what other astonishing discoveries await us in the coming years.

The Mystery of the Octave – The Ultimate Secret of Lincoln CathedralBy Dan Green
Over the years it hadn’t missed my attention that there is a close relationship between chess and the classical Chinese text the I-Ching, possibly the oldest divinatory system known, often called the Book of Changes, with its 64 Hexagrams. The 64 squares of chess mirror the number of Hexagrams (64 also being the number of DND Codons), the 8 major trigrams replicate the 8 ranks, 8 files, six lines in a hexagram duplicate the 6 types of chess pieces and both have two opposing modes, the Ying-Yang and the two opposing black and white colours. Transformation in the I-Ching entails 8 major shifts paralleling the musical octave, something we will be returning to.
There is a growing public suspicion about the grip of Freemasonry within the police force, that leads to fears of corruption. Both British and American police display the black and white chequers of the Masonic Lodge floor on their uniforms. The most prevalent of slang terms for a British policeman or woman is a ‘copper’. Amongst a few contending theories as to why, we are told that the term originates from the Latin ‘capere’ meaning ‘to seize, to take’. The other contender is that it comes from New York’s first official police force in the States who wore badges made from copper. However, ‘copper’ hides neatly in ‘copralalia’ – copr. Perhaps the unknown origin for another popular slang for police, ‘rozzers’, can also be claimed in ‘Kopros’, containing both ‘cop’ and ‘ros’.
The classical image of the devil with his pitchfork might actually be a visual allegory of an acoustic resonating tuning fork which can be used to emit a pure musical tone, key or pitch. For use in the opening of a ‘Portal’?. International stone sculptor Michael Dan Archer, who has used the tool of the Collective Unconscious for some of his work, in 2002 contributed numerous examples of his sculptures in and around Lincoln Cathedral, one he called ‘Portal 1’. Although this has since been removed, at the South East end of the Cathedral you can still see his Gateway entitled ‘Between two worlds’.
Not without its Alice in Wonderland absurdities and the inter-connectiveness of the Collective Unconscious when synchronicities collect up, let me share some starting with Dan Brown’s ‘The Da Vinci

The below story was found and was interesting enough, despite all the hype about 2012, to be posted here. If indeed 2012 marks the year of our impending change/doom/climactic upheaval in all that we currently know, then we better start preparing for it now.
Mexico adds yet another brick to the 2012 Maya legend
Archaeologists say another artifact refers to date, but downplays doomsday angle
MEXICO CITY — Mexico’s archaeology institute downplays theories that the ancient Maya predicted some sort of apocalypse would occur in 2012, but on Thursday it acknowledged that a second reference to the date exists on a carved fragment found at a southern Mexico ruin site.
Most experts had cited only one surviving reference to the date in Mayan glyphs, a stone tablet from the Tortuguero site in the Gulf coast state of Tabasco.
But the National Institute of Anthropology and History said in a statement that there is in fact another apparent reference to the date at the nearby Comalcalco ruin. The inscription is on the carved or molded face of a brick. Comalcalco is unusual among Mayan temples in that it was constructed of bricks.
Arturo Mendez, a spokesman for the institute, said the fragment of inscription had been discovered years ago and has been subject to thorough study. It is not on display and is being kept in storage at the institute.
The “Comalcalco Brick,” as the second fragment is known, has been discussed by experts in some online forums. Many still doubt that it is a definite reference to Dec. 21, 2012 or Dec. 23, 2012, the dates cited by proponents of the theory as the possible end of the world.
Referring to past or future?
“Some have proposed it as another reference to 2012, but I remain rather unconvinced,” David Stuart, a specialist in Mayan epigraphy at the University of Texas at Austin, said in a message to The Associated Press.
Stuart said the date inscribed on the brick “‘is a ‘Calendar Round,’ a combination of a day and month position that will repeat every 52 years.”
The brick date does coincide with the end of the 13th Baktun; Baktuns were roughly 394-year periods, and 13 was a significant, sacred number for the Mayas. The Mayan Long Count calendar begins in 3114 B.C., and the 13th Baktun ends around Dec. 21, 2012.
But the date on the brick could also correspond to similar dates in the past, Stuart said.
“There’s no reason it couldn’t be also a date in ancient times, describing some important historical event in the Classic period. In fact, the third glyph on the brick seems to read as the verb huli, ‘he/she/it arrives,'” Stuart wrote. “There’s no future tense marking (unlike the Tortuguero phrase), which in my mind points more to the Comalcalco date being more historical than prophetic.”
Both inscriptions — the Tortuguero tablet and the Comalcalco brick — were probably carved about 1,300 years ago, and both are cryptic in some ways.
The Tortuguero stone tablet apparently refers to an event that is due to occur in 2012, but a crack in the stone makes the final passage almost illegible.
The Tortuguero inscription describes something that is supposed to occur in 2012 involving Bolon Yokte, a mysterious Mayan god associated with both war and creation. However, erosion and a crack in the stone make the end of the passage almost illegible, though some read the last eroded glyphs as perhaps saying, “He will descend from the sky.”
The Comalcalco brick is also odd in that the molded or inscribed faces of the bricks were probably laid facing inward or covered with stucco, suggesting they were not meant to be seen.
The Institute of Anthropology and History has long said rumors of a world-ending or world-changing event in late December 2012 are a Westernized misinterpretation of Mayan calendars.
The institute repeated Thursday that “Western messianic thought has twisted the cosmovision of ancient civilizations like the Maya.”
The institute’s experts say the Maya saw time as a series of cycles that began and ended with regularity, but with nothing apocalyptic at the end of a given cycle.
Given the strength of Internet rumors about impending disaster in 2012, the institute is organizing a special round table of 60 Mayan experts next week at the archaeological site of Palenque, in southern Mexico, to “dispel some of the doubts about the end of one era and the beginning of another, in the Mayan Long Count calendar.”

HUMANKIND HAS AN innate “knowledge” that there is something more to our existence than our brief lives on this planet. And we yearn to understand exactly what it is. It is this unquenchable yearning that has led to the creation of religions and myths, and explorations of such concepts as life after death, reincarnation and past lives. We long to truly discover this “otherworld.”
In his fascinating book, Gateways to the Otherworld: The Secrets Beyond the Final Journey, from the Egyptian Underworld to the Gates in the Sky, author Philip Gardiner delves deep in the knowledge of ancient cultures and discovers that they might have had the ability to journey to other realities. He also explains how we can begin to take that journey ourselves.
In this interview, Mr. Gardiner explains some of what he has learned.
Q: Let’s start with the title. What is the “otherworld” you refer to?
Gardiner: There are, of course, many definitions and they seem to grow with each year. Today, people often think about the otherworlds of science fiction (or maybe not) such as those of Stargate. However, for the purposes of my book, we are dealing with more ancient concepts that have come down to us today in the Western world, such as Heaven or even Avalon. For as long as there has been consciousness, it seems man has found the desire to overcome the greatest of fears – the loss of self following death. And so we now have myths and religious belief systems built around the concepts man created (or discovered) to overcome this issue.
The other concept of the otherworld seems to have come later (although this may not be so; it is difficult to prove either way historically). This secondary otherworld is the place that our Shaman claims to visit and is, of course, related to the world of the “spirits”. The two otherworld concepts are related in most cultures, although some have them slightly differing.
Q: In the first sections of the book, you delve into a lot of history. Is the “secret” information that was known to the ancients and has been lost or forgotten?
Gardiner: I have often had this discussion with other authors in the field and many of us agree that these “secrets” fell out of popular perception over time naturally, but that some were pushed out, especially by a jealous and empire-building church, which wanted its “heaven” to take precedence. Some elements have been kept alive in the undercurrent, and by that I mean the many so-called secret societies that maintained the “wisdom traditions”. By piecing their elements together with those from ancient texts, archaeology and even science, we can draw some conclusions and that’s what I did for the book.
Q: What is the significance of the great Egyptian pyramids in this context?
Gardiner: Quite apart from the fact that one cannot leave the Great Pyramid at Giza out of any equation regarding “gateways” to otherworlds, I was amazed to see the science of the building and its materials actually meeting with the belief systems of the ancient Egyptians.
Let me explain. The Great Pyramid stands at what was then said to be the centre of the Earth’s landmass. It was built from materials well-suited for absorbing energy – specifically, electromagnetic energy. The Kings Chamber is created from granite, which is made up mainly of quartz crystal, which magnifies electromagnetic energy. So the building collects and magnifies energy. This energy is that of the natural world around us – the energy of the Earth (Mother, as our ancestors believed). Place yourself in a meditative state inside the Kings Chamber and you not only bring your brainwaves down to a specific frequency known as the hypnagogic, but you also become one with the frequency of the Earth. Sounds mad, I know, but that’s the science, and there is much more to it.
Q: Is an understanding of this ancient knowledge essential for making this journey?
Gardiner: I would not say so totally… but it is extremely important that one gains knowledge of balance and grows in wisdom before attempting anything that involves trance. We can often take heaven or hell with us wherever we go.
Q: What can we expect to find through the gateway?
Gardiner: The last answer gives a clue. Those individuals who are not balanced and who have not sought out “themselves” prior to accessing this otherworldly truth have all too often discovered a terrifying world. I cannot say with all certainty that what is found within these states is real in the classical sense, but the fact is that man has sought out and had these experiences for millennia, and the similarities among the experiences are profound. Quite often, people can have these experiences spontaneously too, and this can give rise to the many tales of alien abduction… but that’s another book….
Q: How difficult is it for any of us to find our way through the gateway? What’s required?
Gardiner: First and foremost, one needs to deal with the thing we know as consciousness and its relationship to chaos, which is created by conflict between being aware and yet having natural urges in a society that is simply not natural – it’s called ego. Once we have dealt with that – which is basically discovering one’s true self – then we can move on. Our ancestors discovered many methods from drugs (not advised nor required) to meditation, prayer, fasting, solitude and even dervish (spinning around). These things help the mind become entrained – to get the brain frequency to meet with the frequency of the Earth (twilight zone!). They also release certain hormones and drugs that affect our consciousness and perceptions. Then one is on the road.
Q: How has this knowledge changed your life?
Gardiner: All the knowledge I have gained over the years has changed my life in many great and sometimes also subtle ways. I began by wanting to know many things – the who, where and when – but as time went on and the more I learned, the more I realized that what mattered most about history was why! H. G. Wells said that we teach our children about the philosopher, about when and where he lived, but we fail to teach them the philosophy. Nothing seems to have changed since he wrote that.
It is time we began thinking more about our responsibilities as conscious beings on this planet, and stopped reacting like barbarians who can make a brilliant weapon, use it for war and murder and yet not really know why we do so. My personal role is to help the innocent in any way I can, and if that means I have to go through the process of getting a message of “philosophy” to those who are not innocent, then I shall continue to do so.
Hollow Earth. The very title envisions exotic races thriving in vast cities below our very feet. Ancient peoples and unknown flora and fauna no surface dweller has ever seen before. Hollow Earth had also been a point of focus by the nazis regime as well, to gain new power for domination on a new level. Explorers have also made this fantastic place a priority over the years to prove this place actually exists. Below is a collection of links from many different sites with a good deal of very interesting information and more.
Begin your journey into the Hollow Earth realm:
|History Mystery: Ancients in America|
Long before Columbus sailed to North America, this hemisphere may have been visited by other Europeans, ancient Romans, Chinese and Japanese – even the ancient Egyptians!
In fourteen hundred and ninety-two,
Columbus sailed the ocean blue…
Many of us learned that rhyme, part of a longer history poem, when being taught in school that Christopher Columbus discovered America. Although nothing can be taken away from Columbus’ daring voyage, he certainly was not the first to arrive on the shores of the Americas. For one thing, there were already people here – many Native American nations inhabited what later became North and South America and even the Caribbean islands where Columbus landed. Columbus probably wasn’t even the first “white man” to make it here. It’s fairly well documented that Icelander Leif Ericsson successfully sailed to North America in the year 1000 – almost 500 years prior to Columbus’s voyage.
In fact, there’s a growing amount of proof suggesting that a lot of the familiar history of human exploration and “discovery” by our ancestors as we were taught it may be quite wrong. There is hard evidence of ancient civilizations making their mark in places where, according to traditionally accepted history, they just shouldn’t be. Here’s an overview of some of the most remarkable and fascinating cases.
Greeks and Romans in the New World

We embarked from Ezion-Geber into the Red Sea and voyaged with ten ships. We were at sea together for two years around the land belonging to Ham [Africa] but were separated by a storm [lit. ‘from the hand of Baal’], and we were no longer with our companions. So we have come here, twelve men and three women, on a… shore which I, the Admiral, control. But auspiciously may the gods and goddesses favor us!”

- Structures: Many stone chambers dot the New England countryside and most archaeologists insist they are all potato cellars built long ago by farmers. Others argue that they are too sophisticated for such a mundane application. The healing power of prayer?
Health and religion have always been intertwined, most obviously through prayer on behalf of the sick. Does intercessory prayer for sick people actually help heal them? For thousands of years some people have believed so. But new Brandeis University research in the Journal of Religion this month shows that over the last four decades, medical studies of intercessory prayer—the prayer of strangers at a distance—actually say more about the scientists conducting the studies than about the power of prayer to heal…
Chile: What the Devil…?
“What the devil is in this photo?” The text goes on to say: Rosa Araya says that the only thing she did was take a photo of her nephews in the backyard of her house in Montegrande to finish a roll of film. Upon developing the roll, she became aware of two things. She had only focused on the boys’ heads and that some strange luminous dots forming a sort of saucer appeared over the skies of Valle de Elqui. Ufologist Patricio Diaz, when consulted by the “El Dia” newspaper, dismissed the possibility that the image was a hoax…

C2C guest blows it on Patterson-Gimlin
One of the painful things about surveying the cryptozoological field is to watch people that should know better misrepresent facts, conjectures, and theories. As usual, one of the worst minefields is the Roger Patterson-Bob Gimlin footage of an apparent Bigfoot taken on October 20, 1967, in Bluff Creek, California. Sometimes people just say too much about the footage, without any firm foundation in what they are uttering. It is as if the sandbar at Bluff Creek has turned into a bit of verbal quicksand for some folks…

I think most of us are familiar with the concept of the guardian angel, who stays with you throughout your life on earth, guiding you and shielding you from danger and harm. Some mediums believe most of us have spirit guides, known as “Doorkeepers”, that stay with an individual from a time prior to birth right through to the afterlife and beyond. Whether that is true I cannot say, but over the years I have collected many accounts of a mysterious benevolent force preventing death and injury in the lives of people, and here are just a couple of these intriguing cases…

Study proves planets impact animal behavior
No one who owns one doubts the family pooch exhibits personality traits that seem remarkably human at times. Is there a way to rationally explain this? Incredibly, a new book describing the original and unusual research pursuits of award-winning French scientist Suzel Fuzeau-Braesch presents rigorous proof that man and animals — specifically pedigreed pups and cloned cows — are behaviorally impacted by where the major planets turn up in their astrological birth charts!
An encounter with strange creatures from underground cities
This planet still holds many mysteries, some that reach back to the dark, distant past and survive in the present as legends and folklore. Cultures around the world tell of beings that live inside the earth. Are they real or myth? Zephanaiah believes he actually encountered these beings on the island of Samoa, where he lives. This is Zephanaiah’s story.
I am a firm believer that the Pacific holds the keys to many of the earth’s still unsolved mysteries, ranging from the spiritual to the scientific. The Pacific should be explored. Many times I have read about beings from the “inner earth” or “hollow earth.” What if I were to tell you that an entrance into the hollow earth can be found right here on the various islands of Samoa?
Growing up here, we are told stories of two different types of beings, aitu and sauai. The aitu, or spiritual beings, are not typical ghosts. Some have been omens for good or bad. Some are sent to harm people, like a poltergeist would. Some have even been known to kill people who try to tamper with Mother Nature. They range in form from floating beings to tall shadow people.
The sauai, or ghoul/monster, were exactly those — monsters. These were things that mere words could not explain. They either flew, walked through walls, were a couple of stories tall (giants) or even dwarfs. The sauai had one purpose: to feed and cause havoc.
On Savai’i, the biggest Island of the Samoa Island Chain, our ancestors talked of the very gate or doorway to Hell being located on one of its coasts. The doorway was called Pulotu. These are where the restless souls of our ancestors and all the ancestors of Polynesia seek rest and refuge.
I was about 13 or 14 when my cousins and I stumbled into a cave many of us had only heard of off the cliff of a village called Pagai. Our grandparents always warned us about the cave and not to venture in to it. Only those who are from within are allowed to go in. If you are not one of them, you will not live to make it back out, we were told.
My cousins and I were night fishing when we came across this cave. Inside the cave was a strange neon blueish-green glow, like street racing lights. There was also this strange essence and scent, like someone was cooking and was caught by surprise. We were so excited. “Shall we go in?” my cousin asked.
His twin brother said, “No! Are you nuts? We don’t know what could be in there.”
I agreed with him. We were all the same age and if someone or something had attacked us, we were too young to fight off our attacker. So we all continued on the path to the reef.
As we got about 30 or 40 feet away, we could see a bluish-green figure leap out of the cave and into the water. This being had fins for feet and webbed hands. Its head was humanoid-like. We couldn’t make out a face because of the distance, but its eyes we would never forget. They were glowing bluish-green light. As it entered the water, we could follow how deep, how fast and where it was going. It traveled like a very big fish. It was gone just as soon as it hit the water.
We were all shocked by the speed it had under the water. It went from five or six feet deep water to 50 to 80 feet deep water in seconds. We could no longer see the lights from its eyes, so we headed back home.
That was crazy! What was that? We all talked about what we had seen. We were shocked and excited. Little did we know we were also being followed.
Our gas lantern was beginning to run out of gas and we were 30 yards from home. My cousin said, “Who keeps shining the flash light behind us?”
His twin and I were about to answer him when we noticed about 15 feet away from us in the water, the lights returned and were following us. We all stopped to see what it would do. It stopped. We moved, it moved. We all decided to run on the count of three. 1… 2… 3 — and we all darted and didn’t look back. All we could remember was the sound of something leaping out of the water and into an old foxhole from WWII, and a screech that sounded like a bat, except 100 times louder.
Out of breath, we all ran to our grandparents’ house. We were all gasping for air when our grandmother asked us what had happened. When we had told her what we had seen and where we had been, she was enraged. Then she calmed down and had a sense of concern as she spoke.
“Sons, that is what we were talking about,” she said. “You see, if you are not one of them, you might not make it alive. They have been underground for so long. They come out at night to hunt for food and return before the day breaks. They live deep in the cave you saw. They have a little city where they dwell. They do not take kindly to humans.
“When your grandfather and I were young, a group of us followed one of them into the cave. It looked like a shark had taken a bite out of it. Its blood was blue. It spoke a language none of us understood, let alone ever heard before. Its voice sounded like a bat in flight. We followed the blood trail about 200 to 300 yards when we came to a city. It was beautiful. They were everywhere. As soon as they could smell us, they made the cave fill with ocean water. We hurried out of there and none of us have been there since. Sons, do not go there again. Do you understand?”
“Yes, grandma,” we agreed.
Whenever we go into the mountains to get bananas or firewood, once in a while we would come across a campsite with seashells and bones. We would look at each other and say, “They were here.”
